The Diversified Technique — also called “Manual Adjusting Technique” — is the most common form of chiropractic care administered in practices throughout the world.
Quite literally a “hands on” approach, the Diversified Adjusting Technique guides the doctor in directly applying a gentle and specific force to misaligned areas of the spine by hand or tool.
Diversified Adjusting technique is gentle and specific. Adjustments are made to correct subluxations, which are spinal misalignments causing nerve interference.
Following adjustment, our practice members typically experience less tension, more energy, better mood and clarity of thought, and reduced discomfort thanks to the healing power that adjustment releases within the body.
Diversified adjusting technique is referred to as “Diversified” for good reason. Namely, it encompasses a wide range of chiropractic disciplines, all concerned with correcting subluxation and relieving excess tension on the nervous system.
Most manual adjusting occurs through high-velocity, low amplitude thrusts that quickly, but gently restore spinal alignment and range of motion, without the use of extreme pressure or discomfort
The Diversified technique is the most commonly practiced form of chiropractic care because of its reliability and decades of refinement.
Our technique involves the use of sophisticated measuring and imaging so as to determine the exact nature of subluxation.
By tracing imbalances in nervous system function detected through our state of the art technology, and by thoroughly reviewing practice member health history, the team at Pine Valley Chiropractic can strategically coordinate care to deliver measurable, sustained positive outcomes.

Anticipating the arrival of your little one can be one of the best times of your life. It’s filled with joy, happiness, and excitement for the future of your family. At Pine Valley Chiropractic, we want you to have an amazing pregnancy and birth.
Chiropractic care during pregnancy is vital to the normal function of both the expectant mother and developing baby. More women and birth providers are discovering the many benefits associated with chiropractic care during pregnancy, and are recognizing this area of expertise through Webster Technique certification.
The Webster Technique was developed with a focus on correcting sacral subluxation. In doing so, neuro-biomechanical function of the pelvis is restored, and the likelihood of proper fetal positioning increases. As the baby grows, the placenta and uterus can place stress upon the sacrum, causing subluxation.
Sacral subluxation may contribute to difficult labor for the mother (known as dystocia), caused by inadequate uterine function, pelvic contraction, and baby mal-positioning. This can greatly reduce the energy, health, and mobility of the mother while also causing her pain.
Correction of sacral subluxation may have a positive effect on all these causes of dystocia. By applying specific, gentle adjustment to the pelvic region, optimal sacral positioning can be restored, reducing the adverse effects of subluxation. Many mothers report experiencing relief, a better pregnancy, and an optimal birthing process, as a result.
We recommend that any pregnant mothers who wish to receive Webster Technique adjustments, especially to increase the likelihood of proper fetal positioning, should do so within a complete care plan that includes regular visits to our office in order to optimize the health of both the baby and mother.
Dr. Nic West at Pine Valley Chiropractic is experienced in delivering care through the Webster technique in order to improve the health of pregnant mothers throughout pregnancy and the birthing process.
